Design of a new one-story and mezzanine 20,000 s.f. research and development facility for a global medical products company. Deemed the “Center of Innovation” on an existing corporate campus in the Northeast, technical support areas include multiple chemistry laboratories, product development and long-term testing environments, and flexible specialized projects areas. Materials flow, their sensitivities, and handling is carefully considered and optimized within the interior layout.
The activity-based workplace administrative areas take advantage of natural lighting and opportunities for employee collaboration. Enhanced employee amenities include an outdoor deck, café, and innovation information resource center.
