University of the Virgin Islands Dormitory

This two-level, 100 student dormitory design was proposed under a Design / Build delivery system. Set on a gently sloping site on the St. Thomas campus, the building was situated to take advantage of nearby ocean vistas. Suite layouts adhered to a standard layout module so as to facilitate a fast-tracked construction of the building, which the schedule demanded. The standard module included bathroom suites and kitchenette areas. Overall amenities within the building included student lounges and study areas, laundry facilities, exercise area, and informal gathering areas.
