Margaritaville Hillside Pool Complex

Set on an extraordinary hillside site that captures a breathtaking view of varying St. Thomas vistas, this 10,500 s.f. area captures a multilevel deck, infinity edge pool, swim up bar, bathrooms, below grade equipment spaces, and miscellaneous support structures. Given the severe topography and high wind exposure, the area was a profound structural, civil engineering, and constructability challenge. The thatched swim-up bar’s steel fabricated “umbrella” and rounded concrete bar service area, required a particularly formidable coordination effort. In spite of severe slopes and changes of level, discreet ramps make the area fully handicap accessible. The completed project has been particularly well received by Wyndham Vacation Ownership management and its guests.
